I have created this page to display other interesting plates that I have seen in the Baltimore/ Washington area. There is no rhyme or reason to how this page is ordered, but please have a look. There are some real beauties on here!

Diplomatic plates
Ambassador from ???. on a Lincoln Navigator - blurry picture, sorry!
Ambassador from Ecuador. on a Buick
Ambassador from Nigeria. on a Cadillac Fleetwood
Ambassador from Malawi.
Diplomatic Staff Handicapped.
U.N. Diplomat from Italy. - These are a common sight in New York, but not so much in DC.
New style, flat Diplomat - These new flat plates first appeared in 2002. Note the sticker now says USDOS and no longer resembles DC plate stickers.

Delaware plates
Delaware Representative w/seal
Delaware Senate Minority Whip - Bet you haven't seen this type before!.
Delaware Commercial porcelain - with an original month tab.
Delaware porcelain - very low number
Delaware porcelain - an interesting low number
Delaware Commercial porcelain - nice low number!
Delaware porcelain Dealer - Very low number - technically, this plate is not legal as Delaware did not issue the "D" prefix for Dealers during the original porcelain years.
Delaware PC porcelain - Another less-than-legal plate number on a porcelain base - the P/C designation is a newer prefix.
Delaware riveted P/C - with a very low number with stainless steel characters.
Delaware porcelain Vanity. - Again, vanities should not be on the porcelain base as they were not issued until well after the initial porcelain base was used.

Interesting Virginia plates
A nice, low numbered passenger
Board of Supervisors - a rare type
Farm Vehicle - a very low number
Internet Capital - the first one issued
State Senator - on the Jamestown base
National Guard - a very low number
Manufactured Housing Board - a rare type!
Scenic base - what's wrong with this picture?
- Mixed-die error! - With one exception, all PQR series plates I've seen have the mixed dies.
- The one exception! - The only PQR series Virginia I've seen without the mixed dies.
- Dashless error - Have not seen any others in this series.
- Dashless error - Have seen many ZAs with and without dashes.
- Dashless error - The only ZZZ-1234 style I've seen with no dash.

Overseas plates photographed in the DC area
Unknown Arab country. I would love to know where this is from - even my Arab-speaking co-workers can't tell me what it says.
Bahrain Export. Bad picture - sorry!
Belarus Cycle. Old style plate going right down L Street in downtown DC!
Iceland passenger. Bad picture - sorry!
Israel passenger. didn't see if the rear matched

Oklahoma Comanche Tribal plate - one you won't see very often around DC!
Pennsylvania Anti-drug plate. - The first one issued.
Pennsylvania otter. - One of my favorite plates on the road - and a nice number!

- An awesome single-letter plate
- Another awesome single-letter plate
- Yet another awesome single-letter plate
